This is a very simple headband made up of Single Crochets (US Terms) made in the round.
The waistcoat stitch is just a Single Crochet stitch done in a different place than normal. You need to go into the post below and between the two stitches you would normally work in. You can see a V shape where you should be sticking the hook.
Supplies needed
DK weaight yarn of your choice
6mm hook
Key
Ch = Chain
SC = Single Crochet
Sl St = Slip Stitch
To make the band
Work loosely
Round 1: Ch 70
Round 2: Join to work in the round and SC around
From now on work in the waistcoat stitch
Round 3 – 10: SC around
Finish off with a Sl St into the next stitch.
